Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement and Logistics Devision - Dizzy Fox Wow what a mouthful. For all those who knew us for more than a year, My birthday was on saturday and yes we went to see the movie about one of our favorite superheroes of all time. That and the fact that free comic book day was on my B-day. The Ironman movie was a great movie and worth all to see if not to at least get your own opinion on it's quality. Myself being a fan had to come up with something for an Ironman comic. The design was supposed to be like a movie poster and thus the collaberation of awsome. I also tried to make sure it wouldn't ruin the movie for anyone. On that same note as all can see I've officially made Plus 1 comic's first ever colored comic. I wish I could say I'll keep it up, but I'll have to come up with a better way of doing it first. I'll try though. As for now I'll be tied up with a few games so we should have some fun with things like Mario Kart, Grand Theft Auto 4, and of course more Smash Bros Brawl. See you next week. -Dizzy Fox |\_/| Robert Downey Jr. IS Tony Stark - Lance Icarus When Iron Mans says "talk to the hand", be aware it'll be the last conversation you ever have. Notice how he's not even worried about the tank. That's your cue to run. I've been pretty avid about some things, things like Okami and No More Heroes. This love for things that are good also reaches out to other forms of entertainment, including movies. I really don't see a whole lot (I believe the last one I saw before Iron Man was 27 Dresses), but when a comic book movie comes out I get a tingling in the nerd core of my brain, sort of like a "spidey sense". I am required by natural law to go and see these movies for better or worse. Thank God Iron Man is so much fun to watch. I'm not going to bore you with the details, but go see Iron Man simply for Robery Downey Jr's performance as Tony "Iron Man" Stark. The man simply is Tony Stark if Tony Stark was pulled out of his comic pages. Hilarious, cutting wit, and overall being-a-dick. He makes the movie what it is. Go see it if you want an action movie involving humor. Anyway, Grand Theft Auto 4 calls and we need to mow down various bystanders, innocent or otherwise. Video games don't make a man violent, it just gives bad people new ideas. See you next week with an actual comic. -Lance Icarus |
