I'm A Writer Not A Doctor - Lance Icarus

One thing that has always confused me about Star Trek is how the USS Enterprise stays staffed when people seem to get ejected into space every episode. I'd like to think Captain Kirk's natural charisma and leadership abilities that keep the ship running smoothly. Or not.

I don't think it's any stretch of the imagination to consider Punchout the funnest game on the Wii for "core" gamers to date. Yes, Nintendo uses the term core as in hardcore, the elitist designation veteran gamers give themselves who feel they're too good for casual games. Hardcore gamers scoff at your Wii Fit's and your Wii Sports! SCOFF THEY SAY! I know that a developer is definitely choosing a specific audience when they make a "casual" game vs a "core" game, but one is not better than the other, especially when hardcore gamers complain about not getting an innovative Zelda but completely ignore WiiWare titles.

Anyway, Punchout. They did a great job giving the game I loved as a child while still giving enough new things to keep me coming back. It's like the first run through is old school Punchout, but as soon as you unlock Title Defense mode it turns into a whole new beast. I simply can't wait to see if they continue the franchise and introduce more than one new character. I recommend this game to anyone and everyone who has the patience to learn the patterns and knock those boxers out!

Hope you enjoyed the comic so much that you'll come by next Tuesday for a brand spankin' new comic! See you then!

Fire All Photons! - Dizzy Fox

I know it's been a while since I posted, and I'm sorry for my lack of consistency. I've been actively looking for work as well as doing some small jobs here and there. It's a little time consuming. Anyways, This week's comic is an obvious one about the new Star Trek movie directed by J.J. Abrams. As a Star Trek Fan myself i loved the movie. They kept to the style of the series while making it nice and fresh. A fun for Trekkie new and old. It's excitement with every warp.

OK, OK. I need to stop geeking out. Anyways, I decided to try something new with the comic this time, and instead of poorly attempting to draw the deck of the ship I just used the 360 panorama shots from the Star Trek Movie web site. I hope you enjoy the comic and remember, always treat your Red Shirts well. Their death may save your life one day.

Live long and Prosper.
