So here we are again with yet another series of Madden under our belt and again we are here to say have fun. With Madden also comes a new season of pro football, and yet again we here at plus 1 comics root for the best for our favorite team.

As is all comes around we would like to say the anticipation for the new game will entice those who lust for some good casual gaming or even if all you want to do is play some football with your friends. I do recommend at least trying the new release when you get a chance.

Retirement Is Not The End - Lance Icarus

Oh Lance, you wish that all the covers could be Seahawks, don't you? Then again, it may not be the best idea with that curse and all.

Speaking of the Madden Curse, it really went to town on Brett Favre. This time it kicked in before preseason even started! Brett Favre went from getting ready to go to his number retirement ceremony at Lambeau Field to being traded to the Jets because the Packers just didn't want him anymore. Now THAT is a reason to believe in the Madden Curse. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then I'm surprised.

During all this commotion, there's sort of a Olympic Games going on. I'm addicted to it. I never watched women's handball before in my life, but I watched it for two hours last night. After that incredible men's swimming relay Sunday night, I might just become a fan of the sport. Seriously, GO AMERICA!
